Beth Donahue

Born and raised in Cambridge, MA in 1935, Beth grew up with an eye for form and color. As she developed her artistic talents and unique thoughts on art and the soul, she attended Regis College in Weston and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Upon completing her education, Beth immersed herself in the creation of abstract art. Her passion and technical skill led to numerous awards:

-Youngest recipient of The Copley Master Award (1992)
-Grand Prix de Paris, Chapelle de la Sorbonne (1993)
-Grand Prix d’Aquitaine d’Arts Plastiques, Musee d’Art Moderne de la Commanderie d’Unet (1993)
-City of Miami Award in the Plastic Arts (1994)
-Soho International Competition Award, NYC (1995)

Beth's unquenchable desire for technique and growth also led her to teach traditional and experimental printmaking at Regis College, where she passed on her experience, passion, and unique perspectives on art to the next generation. Beth passed away in 2018, but her art lives on in many permanent collections, both public and private, across the globe. Her public art is on permanent display at the
